COME JOIN THE 2017 MANCHESTER MUCHACHOS

Positions are available in all sections—brass, percussion and guard—as well as support staff.
The Muchachos Drum and Bugle Corps of Manchester, NH is a Drum Corps International (DCI) all-age corps performing in exhibition at the same shows as the elite corps of DCI. This past summer, the Muchachos performed at shows featuring Boston Crusaders, Bluecoats, The Cadets, Crossmen, Phantom Regiment, Cavaliers, Jersey Surf, 7th Regiment, and Spartans to name a few.
Today's Muchachos Drum and Bugle Corps is not an alumni corps. And it's not a senior corps. As a true ALL-AGE corps, members range in age from 14* years old up through retirement age and beyond. Many members have previously performed with other drum corps, including DCI Open and World Class corps, and others with college and high school bands. The Muchachos is a teaching corps, dedicated to providing musical, color guard and marching instruction to all interested in drum corps performing arts.
If you are a high school or college musician or guard member, or an alumni of a band or drum corps, and are interested in performing in a Drum Corps International (DCI) corps next summer but thought it too expensive or are unable to take the time off to go on tour, you owe it to yourself to check out the Muchachos and see why members return year after year.
Did you know? The Muchachos Drum and Bugle Corps provides almost everything you need to perform with the Corps: instruments (horns and drums), guard equipment, uniforms (except for personal items like shoes, hats and gloves), transportation to away events, and high-quality instruction. You bring your skills, dedication, willingness to learn (and to have fun), and your enthusiasm. All for a low annual tuition of $200.
During the winter months, the corps learns and rehearses music performed in next summer's field show and in parades. In the spring and summer months, the corps learns and rehearses drill for the field show that the corps will perform at Boston-area drum corps shows.
We would love for you to join us, for a single season or for many. We take ourselves seriously (but not too seriously) and enjoy performing in front of both large and small audiences. Whether we are playing for the special needs children at Camp Fatima or before large audiences at DCI World Class shows, we all get a kick out of being part of something special.
You will spend time around some really nice people with similar interest and love for music, and you will get to experience the excitement of performing in a group with a high quality show in front of adoring crowds!
