SEEKING ADDITIONAL MEMBERS FOR 2013 SEASON
The Muchachos are preparing to take the field for their 7th season as an all-age affiliate member corps of Drum Corps International (DCI) and are looking to add to its membership.
Are you a current or former musician? Do you play a brass or woodwind instrument? Would you like to learn?
Previous music and marching experience with a drum corps or a band is helpful but is not a requirement for membership. The Muchachos is a teaching organization, dedicated to providing musical, guard and marching instruction to all interested in drum corps performing arts.
As an all-age Corps, the Muchachos' membership is open to both youth (ages 14* and up) and adults. Current members come from all walks of life and musical backgrounds, including former World and Open Class alumni, current high school and college musicians, and former drum corps and band members.
New for the 2013 season is the addition of a visual designer to the staff. The Muchachos are one of the few all-age corps to perform a field show in exhibition at DCI World and Open Class competitions.
The February 24th rehearsal has been cancelled due to the snowstorm. Our next scheduled rehearsal is Sunday, March 10th from 10:30 PM to 5 PM at Brady-Sullivan Tower, 1750 Elm Street, Manchester, NH. Please come visit us, watch us rehearse or even play with us!
